The Art of Shaving's Sandalwood Shaving Cream helps hydrate and soften beard hair for a close, comfortable shave. It produces a rich, foamy lather that protects the skin from irritation by improving razor glide and is formulated with a high concentration of glycerin to leave your skin feeling smooth. 

How To Use:

Lathering up is the 2nd step in The Art of Shaving's trademarked 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave™ (preceded by applying Pre-Shave Oil). 

With a brush (recommended): Rinse your face with hot water to stimulate skin, open pores, and soften beard hair for an easier shave. Then, wet your brush thoroughly under hot water before applying a fingerful of shaving cream to the center. Apply to your face in quick, circular movements to exfoliate the skin and produce a rich lather. Shave with the grain on your first pass. If a closer shave is desired, re-lather and shave against the grain. Rinse with cold water and apply our 2in1 After-Shave Balm. 

Without a brush: Place shaving cream directly onto wet skin and massage into a lather using your hands.
